Take me to my minds fantasies of wandering daydreams
Creeping into my heart
While healing past time wounds
My subconscious is telling me that he is you
Feeling the truth of something new
Wanting to move forward
Stuck in the past
Yet this trance has corrupted my mind
Again, I’ve fallen off track
My equation is out of whack
Wandering where I’ve slacked

I question why
Here I am on this Merry Go Round
Of thoughts running wild
Wanting to be tamed
Confused about the game
Play along I remain
Knowing it’s wrong
Yet I dare to be proven wrong
All about the superficial gain
My turbulence pain was definitely vain
Shall I take blame?
Prima Donna wonders where her secret lies
I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size
But a phenomenal woman I am
Whether you see it or not
I’m destined to win this fight
Again, I’ve risen with might
Stereotypes are no longer insight
My needs are intact
Hopefully cupids aim wasn’t whacked
To try is a chance
A chance that I’m willing to take
This take will authenticate my success
Success is to be my fortress
In the meantime these wandering daydreams
Keeps me in check
Dissolving my faded dreams
As reality beams
